Cherries are a well studied fruit, and it has been well established that cherries not only reduce inflammatory markers in the body, but they can be an effective form of treating gout. One can ward off gout attacks by eating cherries, likely from their high antioxidant activity.

Blackberries: Blackberries are a very antioxidant rich fruit, and have a higher antioxidant concentration compared to strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and cranberries. They are rich in the antioxidant class know as anthocyanins, which have been known to suppress rheumatoid arthritis from flaring up.
